What We Cover

An observational record of everyday wellness

Grasol Notebook is not a guide. It does not dictate sequences or present ranked lists of habits. It records — with some care and with a degree of editorial rigour — what sustained attention to active living looks like when it is practised rather than theorised.

Writers contribute from direct experience. Observations are cross-referenced where possible with published research from peer-reviewed journals and reputable institutional sources. Editorial selection prioritises long-running studies and replicated findings.

Considered

We publish slowly. Volume over frequency is not a value of this notebook. Depth is.

Harriet Marsden

Harriet has written on daily habits, movement, and attention for a number of UK-based publications over the past eight years. Her approach is observational rather than prescriptive — she documents practices as they are lived rather than as they are recommended.

At Grasol Notebook, she oversees editorial selection, reviews all contributions before publication, and contributes the majority of featured entries. She is based in London, where the publication is edited and produced.
